As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the manufacturing process. Your responsibilities will include coordinating the procurement of components based on designs created by our design team. Our company employs cutting-edge manufacturing technologies such as additive manufacturing, superalloy machining, coatings, and composites. Your expertise and knowledge will be vital in supporting the technical teams, handling manufacturing and procurement, and providing innovative solutions to enhance our operations.
📝 Key responsibilities
Collaborate with the technical teams, in particular mechanical and propulsion, to select and optimize manufacturing processes, including metal and polymer additive manufacturing, superalloy machining, coatings, composites
Manage the manufacturing process of different components based on designs from the design team.
Oversee the procurement of components and materials needed for production, and manage supplies
Develop production procedures and documentation.
Participate in testing and quality inspections of manufactured components.
Monitoring production costs and identifying ways to optimize them.
🎇 Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar
👋 Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of advanced manufacturing technologies, such as additive manufacturing, alloy processing, coatings, and composites (preferred).
Experience in managing the production process, preferably in the technical industry.
Good communication skills and ability to suppliers.
Familiarity with production procedures and documentation.
Teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with other departments in the company.
Proficiency in English.
Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
