What do we do?
ICEYE is building and operating its commercial constellation of small Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellites with SAR data available to customers. Our satellites acquire images of Earth at any time – even when it’s cloudy or dark – providing commercial and government partners with unmatched persistent monitoring capabilities. Information derived from our SAR images helps customers make data-driven decisions to address time-critical challenges in various sectors, such as maritime, disaster management, insurance, and finance.
To support the company’s growth, we are looking for a SAR Image Analyst.
About the role?
To support the company’s growth, we are looking for a “SAR Image Analyst” to join our Data Products team. You will report to the Earth Observation Applications Lead in this role.
Responsibilities:
You will work closely with the Data Products team to process and interpret our unique SAR data in order to extract information and generate derived data layers, products and case studies that showcase the value of SAR.
You will build internal relationships and liaise with the Data Product and SAR Engineering teams in order to establish an advanced understanding of our SAR data and constellation.
You will develop and execute a strategy for delivering a range of materials that will contribute to the utilization and promotion of our SAR data products, and help drive company growth.
You will develop targeted training materials to educate customers and ease the uptake of our SAR data products across a range of users with differing levels of technical expertise and experience .
You will also support the Data Products team in exploring new market opportunities.
Requirements
Must have:
Candidates must be passionate about satellite imagery, with an interest in converting imagery into actionable information.
Defence & Intelligence (D&I) satellite image interpretation experience required, including working with SAR.
Self-motivated and proactive work style, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment in support of evolving business needs.
Preferred to have:
Background in Value Added products.
Experience of other commercial markets e.g. Energy, Mining, Engineering, Environment, Government.
