Senior MAIT Engineer Eng.

Workplace: Warsaw

Main tasks:

• Independently designing MGSE (Mechanical Ground Supportive Equipment) devices for external clients and internal projects.
• Making and controlling executive drawings based on 3D models in accordance with GD&T.
• Evaluating the manufacturability of parts designed by the design office.
• Actively searching for components (mechanical/electronic), subcontractors both in Poland and abroad.
• Assembling machines designed in the design office.
• Participating in the integration and testing of machines.
• Comprehensive management of procurement procedures RFI, RFP, and RFQ.
• Assisting in coordinating the procurement process, executing orders in accordance with contracts and procedures.
• Participating in the acceptance of manufactured parts and ordered components.
• Participating in negotiations with clients, project reviews.
• Conducting activities to improve the procurement and warehouse process and reporting KPI indicators for the procurement process.
• Creating production and validation documentation in English.

Requirements:

• Higher education preferred in technical fields (Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Aviation).
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position in a technology or manufacturing company, preferred small-scale production.
• Very good knowledge and understanding of manufacturing technologies (machining, 3D printing).
• Good knowledge of technical drawing and GD&T principles.
• Knowledge of machine assembly and integration principles, ability to maintain a work log.
• Ability to conduct functional tests of devices.
• Knowledge of English at least at B2 level.

Nice to have:

• Experience in the space industry.
• Willingness to work independently (also as a deputy head of the section).
• Knowledge of the basics of structural strength and 3D modeling skills.
• Experience in working with internal subcontractors.
